Two Tiffanys celebrating what they love by giving it a stage and using their voices to spread the word.

Wet – “It’s All In Vain”

Since releasing their self-titled EP two years ago, Brooklyn-based electro-pop band Wet are preparing to release a debut album, titled Don’t You, via Columbia Records. Having already shared “Deadwater” earlier this year and presented a music video for “Weak” a few weeks ago, the album’s third single dropped last week.

“It’s All In Vain” has a chilly, downtempo atmosphere, unraveling with delicate percussion, ghostly vocal layering, and sputtering drums, while lead singer-songwriter Kelly sings a forlorn tune about love, betrayal, and feeling disconnected. The song is beautiful and heart-wrenching, and my favorite parts are the moments when her voice shoots into a whisper-like falsetto, and the bouncing sing-along chorus. Listen below.
