Two Tiffanys celebrating what they love by giving it a stage and using their voices to spread the word.

Ryan Higa’s “Honk For Japan” video

So while I was checking my youtube subscription updates today, I came across a video from the cool, and handsome, Ryan Higa that I wanted to share. Ryan and his friends, Victor Kim, Kev Jumba, Chester See, and Mike Song, made “Honk If You Love Japan” signs. They stood outside, in Los Angeles, for an hour. For every honk they got, Ryan donated $10. In that hour, they raised and donated $600. While watching the video, I thought it was a really great idea. It’s beautiful to see people coming together to help support and donate to another country in desperate need for help.

On top of that $600… for every 1,000,000 views that the above video gets, he’ll be donating an extra $600. Right now the video is at 4 million views and the total raised as of right now is $3350. So watch it, and pass it around.

Fever Seoul Competition

Fever Seoul was an online bboy and bgirl competition organized by Seoul City Government to spread a worldwide appreciation for the bboy culture in Seoul. While the competition is over, I still wanted to shed light on it. In September, participants sent in their videos for a chance to battle against Korean bboys Bruce Lee, Pocket, Vero, Skim, Rookie, and Jay Park. After a couple of rounds and call-outs by youtube submissions, they chose the top 6 international finalists to fly out to Seoul to battle against the top 6 Korean breakers. Repping the international top 6 are: Redo (Holland), Atomic Goofball (USA), Yoriyas (Africa), Drama (Italy), Aranha (Brazil), and Victor Kim (USA). So check out submissions and the videos below…
