MOMENT: Joon Is Not My Name (Mixtape DL)

I want to bring your attention to another mixtape in association with ¥€$ MG, and  it’s from MOMENT, an emcee representing Osaka, Japan by way of Seoul. Just to be clear, the “Joon Is Not My Name” mixtape is not a ¥€$ Music Group production but MOMENT is associated with Julian Nagano’s ¥€$ Music Group. As you guys know, I’m a fan of this talented Julian Nagano and he and fellow artist  Terusha are friends of CrayonBeats: both have been spotlighted several times here on CrayonBeats, and have even graced our own compilation mixtapes a few times (Vol 1 & Vol 2).  But back to the matter at hand: MOMENT’s Joon Is Not My Name Mixtape!

UKP (aka The Unknown People)are back after a two year hiatus with the release of their newest EP “TRIUMPH”. Their most notable album, 2008’s Tell A Vision, featured the hit “Philip Marlow’s Daughter” which was followed by the albums Autumn Again (2008) and Consumer Report (2009) and Vintage 80’s The Neuter Gender Mixtape in 2009. TRIUMPH, with it’s heavy beats and rhymes, is a seven-track reintroduction to the sheer dopeness that is Sticky Bits and Vintage 80…aka The Unknown People. Continue on after the jump for the EP preview, lead single video/download, and links to get to know the duo.
