Mr. J. Medeiros – “Gone”

Mr. J. Medeiros is gearing up to release his final album under the alias he’s had for several years. Currently titled Milk and Eggs, the 13-track album name will be changed to G.A.D. for the official release. If you missed out on his Indiegogo campaign, there’s the opportunity to pre-order the digital album and receive it a week before its release of January 12th, 2016.

He dropped the first single earlier this month, called “Gone”. The rock-inspired beat has a sense of urgency, with the continuous build-up of a fiery electric guitar, a strumming bassline, and hard-hitting drums all throughout. There’s even a climactic metal part towards the end that finally spirals into a chaotic flush of head-banging energy, before it picks back up where it left off… and they gone. Mr. J. Medeiros’ energetic flow finds him rapping from a political standpoint, illustrating what sounds like the scary, all-too-real world that we’re living in today. Give it a listen!
