A few days ago, I received this album by Collectible Humans, titled “String Theory“. Collectible Humans is a Maryland hip hop duo between Adam Selene and Joshua Coberly. They both rap, and production was completely handled by Adam Selene. Cuts from DJ Addikt, too.
There are 7 tracks, with a play-out time of 29 minutes, and it’s “meant to be just an introductory effort.” And a good introduction it is, because I absolutely loved it. It’s heavy in sound, with sharp lyricism, and will keep your head-nodding from beginning to end. There’s a healthy mix of hip hop, rock, and a tinge of metal. The anger and frustration that is unleashed through the high-adrenaline vocals and grungy beats is refreshing. Actually, Adam described Collectible Humans as sounding “somewhere between Company Flow and Kyuss.” That should help you out.

Honey’s dreary singing is only accompanied by some strings. In the video, he sits center screen on a couch, drinking bourbon, while Jamie sits quietly in a chair at the left. Random house guests walk in the hall. Check it out.
