Hip hop producer MOEdavey, from Bristol, England, and emcee Melodious Mike, from Montclair, New Jersey… are both a part of the artist collective The Devil’s Kazoo. The two of them also teamed up as MOElodious, to release a full-length called “Beauty Joints“.
“Beauty Joints” was dropped just a few days ago, on January 27th. It’s neatly packed with 11 tracks, and “It’s a fact that our music makes you beautiful, it’s a fact that our music makes you cute.” With a line like that (from “Sipping on Syllables”), it kind of makes me think of Handsome Boy Modeling School… but something for the ladies. Maybe this could be HBMS’ younger, but mature, sister who was a beauty school drop out. Hahahaha… something like that. And I mean that in a good way. The album strays from those lady-like, dainty images you may have, though, for feel good, head nodding beats — lead by snappy drums, lathered in various soul-jazz vibes — and equally-dope rhymes. It’s a real cool album, so I suggest that you check it out and keep up with these dudes. Don’t sleep. Get beautiful.

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Jane released her debut album “Love Stories” early last year after winning the Musicpalooza contest in San Diego. As a result of winning the contest, she’s opened for the legendary Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, as well as headlined at the world renown Anthology. Classically trained in vocal performance and musical theater, Tiffany followed in her mother’s footsteps as a singer, however her penchant for the blues lead her in the direction of singing over acting.
