Hollow Pigeons aka Ryan Dela Cruz is a 15 year old experimental hip-hop beat maker from Toronto, Canada. A classically trained pianist, Ryan decided to one day just say fuck it and stopped playing. It wasn’t until about a year or so later that, after listening to the soundscape on Final Fantasy X that the young talented producer got interested in listening to “video game music” along with Japanese pop. In his own words, “[...]that was my main inspiration to start making music.”

Remember our SOUNDCHECK on Medina? Well it’s no secret that I love this girl, and now here’s some more good news about this Danish superstar. Due to her increasing popularity on the top 40 charts, her US album has been pushed up to be released Sept. 6, 2011! Way to go Medina! Already she’s gotten some airplay on the nation’s most popular radio station Z100, and as expected, listeners are falling in love with her infectious dance beats. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for the US market!
Accompanied by Mathew Gabriel Gonzales on guitar, the soulful Anya covered Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good” hit. I love this girl’s unique voice and style, she’s a beauty. And yo, I want those glasses she’s wearing — too cute.
By the way, you should know Anya by now.

Since then, the movie has been picking up more and more steam via Facebook and now with the official trailer released, I am personally excited to see this film: it looks like a great slasher flick! Trailer after the jump.

The energy of the bass and distortion of noises fits so well with the visuals — sooo dope. Even if you don’t enjoy dubstep, you should click play.
