The vibrant colors and insanely fresh styling jumps out at you from the crisp photographs of this Brooklyn born artist whenever you come across one of her pieces. Neef Fresh is her name, and as a self taught photographer since 2008, her work has been steadily earning her much deserved praise with every passing year. As the stylist for most of her shots, her personal style is reflected through and through, as her moniker states, it’s FRESH.
There’s many meanings to the word “FRESH”…In my case, it’s “New”,”Different” and “Stylish”. Known best for my bold use of color, artistic and abstract views, unique uses of patterns, sense of fashion, shapes and my artistic eye in general. I would like to consider myself one of a kind. I remember seeing a few of her photographs posted on various fashion related message boards, and once actually visiting her ModelMayhem profile. However, it wasn’t until I stumbled upon her tumblr that I was reminded once again about how dope she was–not only as a photographer, but as a stylist, and graphic artists. Her creative vision is what some could call lightning in a bottle, captivating and inspiring.
