Find a reason to live.The tag-line for this upcoming slasher flick is poignant in more ways than one. Set to premier in the UK this summer, the film, directed by Arjun Rose, stars some of the hottest young talent in the UK at the moment: Robert Sheehan (Misfits, Season of the Witch, Love/Hate), Tulisa Contostavlos (N’Dubz), Ashley Walters (Get Rich or Die Trying), Reggie Yates (Doctor Who-BBC) and more.
When a young girl named Amber takes her own life, her friend Archie Eden and seven other London teenagers decide to follow her lead and create a suicide pact, but as the group begins to die one by one, Archie realises they have become the target of a masked killer. The Suicide Kids decide that life is too valuable to throw away, unfortunately the decision is no longer theirs…They’re dying one by one, but who is the killer? I really hope the movie gets released in the US, if not in theaters then at film festivals the very least. Aside from it being a slasher flick (and starring Robert Sheehan!), another reason for it to be shown in the US is because it looks like it could touch a lot of young people dealing with problems they may feel are too big for them. Hence the “find a reason to live” weighing so much. Case in point: actors from the film have posted “3 Reasons to Live” videos on youtube and the film’s machine is holding a contest for fans (I suppose it’s UK only) to post up their ‘reasons to live’ videos as well.
