Crystal Fighters – “Swallow” video 0

Crystal Fighters formed after Laure came across a diary that was kept by her deceased grandfather in the Basque countryside. Inside the diary was an unfinished opera written in her his final months of insanity. Laure became captivated by the contents, so she formed a band to honor and expand on the crazy writings of her grandfather. She returned to London and recruited friends Gilbert, Sebastian, Graham, and Mimi.

They describe themselves as making “fast dance music with Basque instruments, synthesizers and our voices.” Crystal Fighters‘ first album dropped in September, and it’s called “Star of Love“.

After the jump, check out their new trippy video of “Swallow”. It was directed by Tobias Stretch, and it shows a woman who seems to be getting rid of life’s problems by drinking.
