Last night was the invite-only opening ceremony for Concept Korea’s Fashion Collective 2010; an event hosted by the The Republic of Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Creative Content Agency and in collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The stunning gallery showcased the talents of six South Korean designers: Andy Kim and Debbie Yoon of ANDY & DEBB, Choon Moo Park of PARKCHOONMOO, Sung Wan Hong of ROLIAT, Doii Lee of DOII PARIS, JUUN.J, and Kuho Jung of KUHO .
On February 13th, 2010, Stussy is releasing a limited edition t-shirt produced in conjuncion with Stones Throw and the Dilla Estate to celebrate the life of James “J Dilla” Yancey. Stussy will be holding “Dilla Day” in-store events, so check out the Stussy site (or after the jump) for more details.

Teeko, Max Kane, and Malaguti, of the 4ONEFUNK family, make up the group F.A.M.E. (Fresh Analog Music Experience). These Bay Area guys combine synth, controller one turntables, and MPCs, to create music that melts somewhere between hip hop, funk, and soul. They just dropped their new EP, “Truthpics“, for free download. “Truthpics” is 12 unreleased tracks produced by the three guys. The tracks were originally intended for their upcoming debut album, “Come With Us“, which will be dropping early summer 2010 (following Teeko’s highly anticipated second album, “Light Up The Darkness“).

Any J Dilla head knows that February is Dilla Month. He was born February 7th, 1974 and passed away February 10th, 2006. REST IN BEATS. And if you just look around, there are tons of tribute shows/parties being held everywhere too.

Benji B‘s Deviation show on BBC 1Xtra came back on January 31st. He featured new music from Erykah Badu, Georgia Anne Muldrow & Declaim, Martyn, Roska, Fatima, and more. London producer, Bullion, had a special mix in the show as well. It showcased some of the music that he’s purchased/discovered that has influenced him.

Calling all sticker heads… Sticker Phiends is back for a third time! Street/Gallery aritst, MadOne, is hosting Sticker Phiends III here in Phoenix, AZ, soon.
Sticker Phiends is an art showcase of local and international sticker artists. The show features stickers and other interactive activities, sticker pack giveaways, free goodies, limited edition screen prints produced by the artists, and so much more. In 2009, the show won the best art show for the city of Phoenix. It’s a big event, so if you’re in the area… check it out.
