Cibelle was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 1978, and now she is a London-based “tropical punkster”.

Sonja Khalecallon (Cibelle’s alter ego) and her band Los Stroboscopious Luminous did the beautiful cover song, originally by 1950′s Raymond Scott, behind the jump. It’s called “Lightworks”. She has a new album coming out this spring called, “Las Venus Resort Palace Hotel” (on Crammed Discs).
