qkSeriously. I don’t know why, but those little tapioca pearls totally make my day. Yesterday I trucked all the way to Flushing Queens to get my hands on a cup of boba from Quickly (I ended up buying two cups LOL). I don’t know if there’s crack in them thar tapioca, but I’ve never craved a drink like I crave Bubble Tea. And Quickly has the best bubble tea in my opinion. Their tapioca is never too chewy, firm or bitter and they don’t use powder to flavor their teas. If you’ve ever had powder flavored tea after drinking Quickly’s, you’ll know what I’m talking about when I say BARF.

I’m not only a fan of bubble tea from Quickly’s though. While they are the best, UiUi and Tease, Tearrific, and Je’Bon also have some pretty tasty bubble tea. One thing’s for sure tho…I definitely want to try making my own boba…just to see if I can. And if it comes out delicious, I can cut back on the amount of money I spend on buying boba every month! :D

I usually order my Boba without milk [lactose intolerants say "what?"] and it still tastes delicious. Also, she used clear/white tapioca…I’ve seen that shops here in NY usually use the black pearls. I wonder if the white pearls have a different taste. o.O

If you haven’t had bubble tea yet, I strongly suggest you find a shop that serves it. It’s like crack. You’ll love it!
