Sole Junkie: XBOX Themed Sneakers1

I seriously let out a mean YOOOOOO! when I saw these. I’m not even a sneaker head, but these are worth a post. The kicks are inspired by the Xbox, complete with a fiber-optic glowing X. I don’t know if Microsoft or NIKE will be too pleased with the use of their logos, since they aren’t endorsing the shoe, but if anything they’ll have to be impressed.
The one of a kind shoes are created by Sole Junkie, and are for sale on Ebay for a buy it now price of $2,500….which is insanely expensive, but if you’ve got the money to spend on them you can probably rationalize the price tag and say you’re buying art. Because in a sense, they are…don’t you think?
Although according to Sole Junkie in this Yahoo article, some people don’t think it’s artistic at all and only see it from the “ZOMG UR RUININ’ MAH GAMIN’ LUSTS” but I’m sure even somewhere in the back of their minds there’s gotta be a “damn that was creative“..BECAUSE IT IS! I mean, they’ve got a switch on the tongue for crying out loud…

They’re kinda cool. I’d wear them, if they didn’t have the xbox logo there, lol. I <3 green.
