So tomorrow is Japan Day here in NYC and the event is gonna be in Central Park. Going. It’s gonna be so fun, especially since the weather has been really nice lately. I can’t wait to taste all of the yummy food and listen to some music. I mainly listen to Urban Japanese Pop so hearing some new/different bands and singers should be fun.
And speaking of expanding my audio horizons, Semi Precious Weapons will be playing somewhere on a rooftop in Brooklyn tomorrow as well, so I’m gonna check them out after the J-Day festivities. Honestly, I’ve been slightly obsessed with their music ever since our girl Yuri featured them as SoundCheck artists. Seriously, I even went out and bought their CD…who buys CDs anymore?… (aside from Tiffology…but she doesn count… as she’s dope as fuck). Anywho, yah. I’m bringing a bag of gummi bears to munch on/throw while I dance around to my new favorite WILDOUT songs [That's Kunt, Jesus, and Her Hair Is On Fire] and try not to cry to my new favorite ROCKBALLAD songs [Genuis, and Time Zones]. Hopefully my camera doesn’t act up and I’ll have some video and pictures for ya’ll tomorrow, yeah?
Till then.
