URALi's "Departure" Is Her Arrival0

Introducing URALi. If you listen to Japanese Urban music you just might know her as Norisham-X. Yep, that’s right Norisham-X has embarked on a new project for which she changed her name to URAIi. Or should I say back to URALi. See, back in 2000 Norisham-X used URALi as her stage name when she embarked on her first solo career.I’m excited to hear what she’s got in store! She recently released her first PV for My Life Is One Way feat. Emi Maria from her album “Departure” [Amazon JP], and I gotta say, I like it. And not just because it features my Girl Emi Maria.

I think I like the PV because it’s simple and to the point. The song itself I can see getting replayed on my iPod a few times as URALi’s rapping goes well with Emi Maria on the chorus. As I said before, Emi is my girl, and although she’s only in the sunset scene I thought she worked the camera (and the song) for what she was given.
The second part of the video caught me off guard, but I th0ught it was too cute! I loved the pop colors and the funky beat. It also sound like URALi has an interesting singing voice. I can’t wait to hear her album….which 4 of her songs from the new album can be streamed on her Myspace.
