Under normal circumstances, I’d think pirates were one of two things: sexy ala J.Depp or funny ala J.Depp.In short, pirates were cool…except for now they’ve lost their cool points because “self-proclaimed pirates” like the Somalian crew who’ve recently made headlines wanna whine about their chosen profession. First, just in case you haven’t heard, we [the US] rescued our captured citizens from the Somalian pirates, at the cost of a few lives on the Somali end….now the “pirates” are whining about how we’re in “trouble”. Gimme a fuckin’ break.
Seriously Somali Pirates…seriously? First off, isn’t rule number one in the Pirate Handbook NO WHINING or something?! You mean to tell me that after taking a ship hostage, demanding ransom, and engaging in gunplay…you’re gonna “retaliate” because things didn’t turn out how you wanted? If I’m not mistaken, I think you’re in over your head.
Somali Pirate Asshat #1 [ aka Abdullahi Lami]:
“In the future, America will be the one mourning and crying,” he told The Associated Press by telephone. “We will retaliate for the killings of our men.[source]“
WTFUCKERY!? YOOOOOOUUU are the one who started this mess. So because you got that ass whipped, you wanna make threats? You’re a pirate! Chalk that shit up and move on. Playin’ tit-for-tat is not very pirate-like, imo….especially since you’re the giant TIT.
But then again this sounds like one of those “anything to make US out to be the bad guy” things. I’m sure there’s gonna be a few other asshats jumping on this “America is wrong” bandwagon these shitforbrains pirates have started, but looking at their track record, I think they might wanna put this one away for some other time. [They've also jacked French ships--and failed miserably, as well as Taiwanese ships--which they actually killed their hostages]
Anywho, I’m ranting I know, but c’mon. SERIOUSLY!? I can’t be the only one who sees the idiocy here:
Somali Pirate Asshat #2 [aka Jamac Habeb] in the Associated Press interview said that it was a “painful experience” to deal with the deaths of his 3 asshat comrades and that the ordeal was a “good lesson” for them. You’d think that that meant they learned not to fuck with the US right? WRONG:
“From now on, if we capture foreign ships and their respective countries try to attack us, we will kill them,” Habeb said. “Now they became our number one enemy,” he said of U.S. forces.[source]
Dude..get over it. You suck as a pirate. Maybe you should think about switching careers. Just don’t apply to be a ninja…I have a feeling you’ll suck at that too.
