I recently received some eyeshadow samples from Lime Crime Makeup and I thought I’d do a review of them. I used to be really big on wearing eyeshadow so I was really excited about checking them out. I chose to “test” the Magic Dust shadows in Diva, Nymph, and Elf.

With his debut release, Photo Album, Wize Crack is holding down hip hop in Newark, New Jersey. The emcee isn’t signed to any labels, so unless you’re friends on Myspace or have been to one of his shows, your ears probably haven’t been exposed to him. However, I advise that you check him out. He describes his style as “clever punch lines, humorous topics with a distinguish flow.” Which if you’ve heard “The Perfect Weekend” (music video posted at the end) single from Photo Album, you’d be nodding your head in agreement. Currently he’s working on releasing another album titled, Crack City, so keep your eyes open for that. This is my first artist interview, so I want to give a big thank you to Wize for allowing me to interview him til 3am his time. Hahah. Anyway, enough talkin’… let’s get straight into the interview.
Tiffology: What made you choose the name Wize Crack?
Wize Crack: It’s a smart remark. A clever comeback, and I thought that name fits well with my style… and I used to talk back in highschool. My mouth got me in a lot of trouble.
T: What did you want to be “when you grew up”? Or did you always know you wanted to be apart of music?
WC: When I was little, I used to want to be a wrestler in the WWF. I guess I was too skinny to do that. I always loved hip hop but I didn’t know I wanted to do that until I was a teen.
Introducing URALi. If you listen to Japanese Urban music you just might know her as Norisham-X. Yep, that’s right Norisham-X has embarked on a new project for which she changed her name to URAIi. Or should I say back to URALi. See, back in 2000 Norisham-X used URALi as her stage name when she embarked on her first solo career.I’m excited to hear what she’s got in store! She recently released her first PV for My Life Is One Way feat. Emi Maria from her album “Departure” [Amazon JP], and I gotta say, I like it. And not just because it features my Girl Emi Maria.

I so jacked this from their myspace
Yeah so earlier this month I posted about my new favorite Youtubers, twins Wax and Heral T. I, like many of their other fans love their freestyles and the songs they posted on youtube; so the guys decided (after getting truck loads of emails, I suppose) to compile their vids in MP3 format and POW! Here we have it, the The Official Wax and Herbal T Youtube Mixtape.
Anjulie isn’t new in the game, but she’s just barely getting recognized now. I was going through a magazine of mine, reading the album reviews, when I came across the review of Anjulie’s “Advance” (2009, released on Hear Music). She had 2.5 stars of 5. Her music was classified as pop/indie pop… and not to mention, she’s lovely. So I became interested in hearing some of her music. To Youtube I went!

Under normal circumstances, I’d think pirates were one of two things: sexy ala J.Depp or funny ala J.Depp.In short, pirates were cool…except for now they’ve lost their cool points because “self-proclaimed pirates” like the Somalian crew who’ve recently made headlines wanna whine about their chosen profession. First, just in case you haven’t heard, we [the US] rescued our captured citizens from the Somalian pirates, at the cost of a few lives on the Somali end….now the “pirates” are whining about how we’re in “trouble”. Gimme a fuckin’ break.
